The SVRC provides a safe space for military-connected students to access peer mentoring, group study sessions and study jams, information and referrals, workshops, and more.

Hours

Fall, Winter, and Spring Sessions: 10 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Thursday. 10 AM - 2 PM Friday.

Summer Session: 10 AM - 3 PM, Tuesday - Thursday.

Available virtually through email.

Center Updates

At this time, in accordance with campus' COVID-19 safety guidelines, the following updates are being implemented.  These guidelines apply to all visitors at the SVRC.

  • Face masks are currently optional indoors at the SVRC.
  • In times of increased COVID cases, campus affiliates must have completed the COVID-19 screener to enter the SVRC.

Location

The Student Veterans Resource Center is located in the original Student Center, on the second floor above Groundworks Books and Taco Villa.

Driving to Campus

From North

  1. Take I-5 south.
  2. Take the La Jolla Village Drive exit.
  3. Turn right onto La Jolla Village Drive.
  4. Take the ramp on the right to Gilman Drive.
  5. Turn right at Gilman Drive.
  6. Turn left on Eucalyptus Grove Lane and enter the visitor parking lot P113. Use the pay station or mobile app to pay for your parking.
  7. The SVRC is located on the second floor above Taco Villa, with the entrance on the north side of the building. There is an elevator near the Campus Bike and Skate Shop.

From South

  1. Take I-5 north.
  2. Take the La Jolla Village Drive exit.
  3. Turn left onto La Jolla Village Drive.
  4. Take the ramp on the right to Gilman Drive.
  5. Turn right at Gilman Drive.

Parking

  • Please be aware that parking on campus is extremely limited, and ongoing construction projects on campus and in the immediate vicinity frequently change traffic patterns and available parking lots.
  • For the most up-to-date information about visitor parking and construction impacts, visit the parking office website.
  • Accessible parking is also available on campus, including lot P113, with no fee required.  Please see the Accessible Parking link on UCSD's parking website for more information.
