CLass of 2025, congratulations on your upcoming graduation from UC San Diego!

In honor of this momentous occasion, the Student Veterans Resource Center wants to recognize you and celebrate your accomplishments!

 

Please note that these efforts are meant to complement the UC San Diego commencements. For updates on campus-wide commencement information visit https://commencement.ucsd.edu


Two ways to participate:

1. A custom military-connected graduation stole  (Order by April 1, 2025)

  • The graduation stoles will be customized by your military branch and affiliation status and feature the UC San Diego logo. These are our gift to you and completely free. Due to shipping and production times our goal is to have these available in time for June graduations. 

2. Graduation Celebration (RSVP by May 15, 2025)

  • Military-connected students can participate in our in-person graduation celebration on June 5th, from 7 PM - 9 PM.  This is a fun way to socialize with other soon to be graduates in a casual setting. Fill out the RSVP today!

How can I participate?

Military-connected students that are graduating can place an order for a stole and/or participate in our Graduation Celebration.

What does military-connected mean?

For the purposes of this graduation celebration, military-connected students are:

  • Active duty servicemembers
  • Dependents (children and spouses)
  • ROTC
  • Reservists
  • Veterans

Do I have to participate in all?

This graduation celebration is for you.  You can participate through as many ways as you like or just one.
The Military Connected Graduation Celebration is open to all eligible students. The Military Connected Graduation Celebration does not consider race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, and/or other protected categories as part of the application and selection process.
