About Us
Here at the SVRC, we are committed to the success of our military-connected students. We serve student Veterans, military service members, their family members, and ROTC students. In collaboration with campus and community partners, we support the academic, personal, and professional success of our military-connected students.
The SVRC provides a community-centered space for military-connected students that includes access to peer support, resources and referrals, a study space, a meditation room, computers, lockers, snacks and coffee, and free printing. Campus and community partners provide in-center access to Veteran benefits counseling, career advising, disability accommodations, mental health support, and additional services that our military-connected students need to thrive at the university.
The SVRC also collaborates with the Student Veteran Organization (SVO) and Veterans Staff Association (VSA) to coordinate campus-wide events and programs to increase military-culture awareness among UC San Diego students, staff, and faculty.
