LCDR Gregory A. Chauncey and Naomi C. Broering Veterans Engineering Scholarship

Brython P. Davis Scholarship

Eligibility: Students whose parents are, or were, a regular member of the U.S. Navy or Marine Corps.

Award Amount: A 1-year award, up to $2,819

Robert and Pat Whalen Military Transfer Scholarship

Eligibility: Transfer students who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces as enlisted or non-commissioned officers, have demonstrated financial need, and are Engineering majors. Preference given to those who have transferred to UC San Diego through Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) or UniversityLink.

Award Amount: A 1-year award, up to $2,631

Philip and Elizabeth Hiestand Scholarship for Transfer Engineering Students

Eligibility: U.S. citizen transfer students, who are Engineering majors, with a 3.0+ cum GPA, and demonstrated financial need. Preference for students who served in the U.S. military.

Award Amount: A 1-year award up to $2,716

Military Spouse Association of Camp Pendleton Undergraduate Scholarships

Individuals whose sponsors are active-duty members of the United States Marine Corps, Navy, (or any of the sister services) currently stationed aboard Camp Pendleton may apply. The sponsor may be an officer or enlisted. If the applicant’s sponsor is a retiree, the retiree must have been honorably retired from the United States Navy or the United States Marine Corps by the time the scholarship application is submitted. Individuals whose United States Navy or United States Marine Corps sponsor is deceased may also apply.

For all applicants, both the sponsor (active duty or retired) and applicant (whose sponsor is active duty, retired, or deceased) must live within a 50-mile radius of Camp Pendleton.
